Their breakfast was the bomb. Best bang for your buck at LAX. Ordered the breakfast burger for myself and veggie omelette for my wife. It was delicious and on time. 30 minutes from beginning to end.

If you are craving a decent breakfast this is your spot. Had an early flight back to Houston and was hungry. Stopped in for a bacon and egg sandwich and it was quite good. I definitely enjoyed the meal! Had to get a few things changed. I swapped the bun for Texas toast. They forgot to toast it lol. Came out with some floppy ass bread. Sent it back to get toasted. The meal overall was pretty good. Overpriced in my opinion but it's the airport and LA. So yeah. It is what is is. Lol. Service was okay. The lady was super nice. She was by herself Running around like a chicken with her head cut off lol. She definitely made the best of it. Very friendly and took good care of me. If I wanted another breakfast sandwich I would definitely got back. Nothing to write back home to Alabama about lol.

Y'all some haters! hahaha I definitely don't think Skewers is worthy of just 2 stars, poor thing. Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto opened this joint in 2012 at LAX. Airport food is known for being mediocre but I actually find this to be a great option. Maybe I just ordered the perfect dish? Ha! The Pork Chashu Bowl ($14) was a good sized portion, meat tasted great with sesame and garlic flavors - I was all about it. Solid and reliable rice bowl. Prior to flights, I love having an airport beer, overpriced as they may be. So I had them pour me out a 20 oz Asahi draft ($14) - cold and as expected! It's always nice to see options at the airport that aren't chains and actually have legit chefs at the helm.
